Poems By Ayumi

The fawn

It only daze at the sunlight

seeping through the gaps of trees

Dazed by the breeze you only can relax

and depend onto your environment

that’s dawned for you

You can only run

and hope for life to let you finish the chapter

safely into welcomed arms

And mother is

there waiting for you.

The lone pup

The day dawns and yawns,

only much for a small walk

and longing for the warmth of the sun

The night breeze kisses the skin with grace

Yet the wind only starts to remind you

that you are the independent person who’s still growing

in every passing day

The weeks will fade into ribbons

for you to know that it’s a goal
